77th Independence Day, Sri Lanka (The Country of Smiles)

Yesterday (4th February), was International Day in Sri Lanka, also known as Independence Day. It commemorates Sri Lanka’s independence from British rule in 1948.
The country has not been without it’s difficulties in the intervening 77 years, and indeed since Mynott Bowers set up it’s first office in Sri Lanka in 2017. There have been troubles which have only been overcome by the stoic determination of Sri Lanka’s marvelous people.
Our company has continued to grow, now boasting over 100 staff, most of whom are measuring quantity surveyors, supported by an excellent team of staff of various disciplines all contributing to our company’s vision ‘to be the best at what we do’!
What we do well is produce high quality Bills of Quantities predominantly for main contractors but also for Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers worldwide. We produce Bills of Quantities accurately and efficiently, relying on the excellence of our staff in both Sri Lanka and the UK. Our staff are wonderful people to work with and our Sri Lankan team reflect the smiling character of the nations people.
Mynott Bowers internal motto of “onwards and upwards” is where these lovely people will take us!
