Contractors set to deliver DfE £15bn Schools Programme by 2031

In December 2025, The Department for Education (DfE) awarded places to 42 contractors across its new £15.4bn construction procurement framework. The framework is set to deliver the next-generation schools and colleges eight-year programme (Dec. 2025 – Dec. 2031) across England.

Mynott Bowers are delighted to see many of their existing clients have made the list and are looking forward to the opportunities that will arise from the new programme.

The framework covers construction and refurbishment projects for a wide range of educational facilities across England, including: Primary and Secondary Schools, Academies, Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND) schools, Further Education (FE) Colleges, Sixth-form Coleges and University Technical Colleges, Ancillary Community Facilities and Other Public Buildings.

Mynott Bowers are extremely experienced in preparing Bills of Quantities in the ‘education sector’ not only for new build schools but also refurbishments and extensions to schools and colleges. Many completed commissions were projects being delivered through the former DfE framework (CF21).
