Mynott Bowers Annual Awards Night 2025 (Sri Lankan Teams)

On Saturday 13th December employees from our offices in Sri Lanka came together to attend Mynott Bowers Annual Awards Night and End of Year celebration.

What an incredible night it was at the historic Mount Lavinia Hotel, an evening dedicated to the most important part of our business: Our People. This year was particularly special as we put the spotlight on recognition, celebrating the high performers who have been the bedrock of our success.

Looking back over the past 8 ½ years, it is humbling to see the growth we have achieved. That journey was made possible by a core group of individuals who stayed the course, protecting our reputation and upholding the highest standards of Quantity Surveying. Their longevity is not just a measure of time, but a testament to the resilient culture we have built together.

A massive highlight of the evening was Heshan Madanayaka (above), one of our longest-standing employees. Heshan’s performance this year was nothing short of legendary, culminating in him winning the prestigious Employee of the Year award alongside several other accolades. Heshan’s trajectory at MBG is the perfect blueprint for success; he proves that consistency, quality, a professional attitude, and a genuine commitment to excellence are not just words on a wall – they are the living ethos of the Mynott Bowers Group!

As we celebrated against the backdrop of the Indian Ocean, the energy and vibe were a clear indicator that we remain an employer of choice in Sri Lanka. While we continue to attract the brightest new talent in the industry, it is the dedication of our veteran team members like Sampath Dissanayake, Gayantha Wijesinghe, Heshan Madanayaka and many more… that ensures MBG values remain intact.
