The MBG Premier League 2026 

11^th July 2026 marked the day our teams from Battaramulla, Kandy, and Matara came together for a fantastic day of cricket, camaraderie, and celebration at the MBG Premier League.

Four teams went head-to-head in a thrilling series of 10 fast-paced, 5-over matches, showcasing plenty of competitive spirit, teamwork, and memorable moments along the way.

Congratulations to Team Shadow Sharks, who ultimately emerged as this year’s champions and lifted the MBG PL trophy! 🏆

The day was about much more than cricket. We were delighted to welcome the families of our team members, making the event a true celebration of the MBG community. From colourful face painting for the little ones and sweet treats from the ice cream truck to the DJ keeping the energy high throughout the day, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

A huge thank you to all our teams for bringing their enthusiasm both on and off the field, and to everyone who supported MBG to make sports & family day a huge success!
